Howdy, Loitering Llamas!
We are here again to announce new updates, tease a few works-in-progress items, and, if I am honest, use the website for once!
Before we get into the updates and fun nuggies, we wanted to reach out to all those that have supported us from day 1 and those we get to discover along the way. We truly appreciate your support and dedication to watching our videos, engaging with us, and even simply liking our content. We are proud of our evolution of Pirkles and Mirlk. With what started as a creative project of unknown direction has taken form and clarity (while still ever-changing) has a more defined path forward.
On to the meat and potatoes (boil them, mash them, sticking them in a... pot?!?)
First announcement; We are excited to say we've been working hard on setting up a podcast. Said podcast will be airing in the very near future. Our plan is to start small with delivering recordings to build the technical confidence and ensure our content doesn't get out of hand. (Trust us, it can happen easily).
We have had some test runs, one of which is a massive failure but was fun and taught us a lot about microphone bleed and other sound set up oopsies. Mayhaps we will release this "Pirkles and Mirlk Ruins the Game Awards" video as a blooper later on when we feel we can salvage it.
For the tease and please, we are looking into animation - in the coming year you will see new PandM style animations like Subscribe, Notification, and even small animation clips in our videos. We hope you like them!
As for our current and advancing social media presence, we have expanded out to TikTok and are uploading our videos on Rumble as well.

As for the last update, and most controversial as of recent news - Artificial Intelligence (AI).
PandM stands strong on the statement we do not use AI to generate our content, but do use it for delivery (to include SEO) and automation. It helps us continue to deliver our content while we juggle the responsibilities of life. However, as a caveat to that, we have partnered with our other project - AI Augmented Human* - to help generate our music we use in our videos and our recent album debut of Pirkles and Mirlk: The EP.
AI is also used as an assistant and research tool to conduct internal and external review and/or identify potential opportunities for Pirkles and Mirlk to expand. Example, we used it to critique Pirkles and Mirlk YouTube and brand to help us devise a plan to be better.
All this to say, we want to be very transparent in the use of AI here at Pirkles And Mirlk. Our drawings, VoD, challenges, and even the upcoming content (animation, Podcasts) are not build or created by AI, and will remain homegrown. AI did not assist me in writing this blog nor any post you have seen on this website.
