Who are Pirkles and Mirlk?

For my first post here on the newly released Pirklesandmirlk.com I will introduce myself so you will know who I am. To begin with I am a gamer of 41 years and a lover of stories. My type of humor may not be for everyone, and I do not take anything seriously.

Let’s start from the beginning. Born in the 80s, life as a child for me was extremely different than the world nowadays. Outside was the place that I lived we would travel miles away from home and always make it back by the end of the day. My experiences with the outside world have always been different than most and you can find the funny in anything out there. Kids falling through the roof of an old abandoned building, dogs pissing on folks through the fence, even beating down kids that remained friends. We would make up and continue life as usual. Wrestling matches on the lawn with a bunch of friends was a load of fun and we remained super active. However, we had all this freedom but still I would spend a lot of time inside playing my games and enjoy my time alone with them.

All this said, one thing remained the same even through adversity. Mirlk and I were always close with each other and a lot of our adventures were together. This was a bad thing for parents as we were hellions, and we didn’t give a shit what we did. We broke into schools, we pushed kids into cacti, we smeared tar on our baby sitters headlights, we were the stuff nightmares are made of. We were always super protective of each other and never let anything bad happen. As we got older and started having our own children we became way more tame… but not completely. We still have that evil thought process except instead of doing anything illegal we speak about it with words and ideas and hopefully all this will be made clear through our content.

This is just a short description to go along with our genesis but allow me to introduce you to Pirkles and Mirlk. Through our content and art we will clearly exhibit what we are about and are open to constructive criticism. We thank you for your support and future support as we navigate through this adventure together.
